Cyberscape
The web face of Pragyan: NIT Trichy’s techno-managerial fest, in full sci-fi.
Web DesignCyberscape sits in the event-marketing industry: the web face of Pragyan, NIT Trichy’s international techno-managerial fest and one of India’s largest student-run events. “Cyberscape” was its theme, a grunge, cybernetic-organism aesthetic built around robotics, signalling that this is where tomorrow’s builders show up. I designed the marketing site, a dark, futuristic landing that carries event clusters and a full event catalogue across several navigable pages without losing the cinematic mood.
Solo: landing, event clusters, and the event catalogue.
Key decisions
- 01A dark, high-contrast sci-fi landing, the fest’s ambition stated visually before a single event is listed.
- 02Event clusters as the organising spine, so a huge catalogue stays navigable instead of a wall of tiles.
- 03A catalogue view that keeps individual events scannable at a glance: dates, tracks, and prizes without a click.
The sci-fi hero: the fest’s ambition stated before a single event is named.

The catalogue: individual events scannable at a glance, dates and tracks without a click.
“A student-run fest that reaches the whole world: the site had to look the part.”
A student-run fest that runs events open to the entire world sets a high bar for how serious the site has to look. The fun was letting the theme go fully cinematic while keeping the catalogue usable underneath.
